Our Volunteers work in positions where it greatly blesses the base to meet the daily needs of every staff and student that come through our doors. Our Volunteers work hard but they get regards and gratitude from everybody here on campus.
They truly are servants for the Lord and we love them!
Our focus
Short-Term Volunteers are invaluable to the overall operation of the University of the Nations and YWAM Muizenberg.
Here at YWAM Muizenberg, our Volunteers are essential in various operational areas of the base where they can serve with their skills and fellowship with others. We want to create opportunities for the volunteers that come to YWAM Muizenberg to not only have the space to exercise their skills but also find out how these skills can impact others with God's love.
This is also an amazing way to get connected to the community and others that are also interested in the same path!
Short-term volunteers have a set commitment period of 6 weeks - 3 months, with a specific arrival and departure date.
We have a wide variety of areas to serve in, whatever your interest or skill-set may be. From opportunities to serve coffee in our base-run coffee shop called 'Lekker Brew', to being handy around the base with the maintenance team, if you're thinking about volunteering, we most likely have a place for you here in YWAM Muizenberg.
The current areas of opportunities of service within YWAM Muizenberg include the Kitchen, Maintenance, Lekker Brew, Administration, Media, as well as many opportunities to serve with local ministries and non-profit organizations that are partnered with YWAM.
