Foundation for Counseling Ministry (FCM)

Looking for a YWAM School about counseling tools and inner healing? The Foundations for Counseling Ministries (FCM) course is a great option.

The purpose of the FCM is to equip students with tools to become active in ministry, applying what they have learned to extend the Kingdom of God. Our vision is to introduce them to a biblical counselling philosophy, imparting basic counselling skills, and walking with them through their own growth and healing process. In this process, we help our students discover their own vision for how they can take what they gain in our school and bring about “healing of the nations” (Rev 22:2).

All topics connect head understanding with heart and action application

My passion is to help hurting people and to empower people to reach their potential and destiny as God intended. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, and I am also discovering how to use this as a ministry tool to unlock self-worth and dignity.
I’m from Cape Town and did my DTS in Muizenberg in 1996, and various counselling schools in Amsterdam and Switzerland. I am a qualified social worker and is married to Jaco.
