BTPS

Biblical Teaching and Preaching School

ABOUT THE COURSE

Biblical Teaching and Preaching School

Overview

The school aims to equip students who already have a thorough understanding of Scripture for a ministry of teaching and preaching in churches or on the mission field.

Students learn practical skills in effective communication of God’s word and are mentored on how to prepare teachings and sermons.

Alongside ministry development, there’s an emphasis on the student’s continued character growth, recognizing the authority of a speaker lies in the integrity of their lives. The intended result is the preaching and teaching of a message rooted in an accurate interpretation of the Bible and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

BTPS Expectations

After the initial four weeks of classroom and practice teachings, there is a four-week internship with a local church.  In this internship, the student will be given opportunities to practice teaching and preaching in a local church environment under the mentorship of a local pastor. After four weeks of church placement, students will continue with classroom lectures and practice teachings for another eight weeks. This is immediately followed by an eight-week outreach that will further equip students for teaching and preaching in almost any ministry context God may call them to serve.
