Do you have a desire to encounter God? Do you have a hunger for His presence? Do you want to learn more about prayer, the prophetic, being lead by His Spirit? Then this is the school for you!
The School of Prayer is two fold in the sense that it will serve as an opportunity for you to go deeper with God in His presence and will also stir you to step out in boldness to see His Kingdom established here on earth as it is in heaven.
The aim of the school is to gather, equip, and release missionaries to stir up and start cultures of prayer and worship in the nations.
What can you expect?
We will explore topics such as:
- The global prayer movement and how it is connected to the return of Jesus.
- We will teach on ways on how to live a lifestyle of prayer, worship and the prophetic.
- We will establish your leadership in these areas and how to lead and facilitate corporate meetings.
- We will explore different models on how to establish a house of Prayer as well as how to cultivate a culture of prayer and worship
Meet The School Leaders!
Noah is 23 years old and from Texas. He did his DTS in Kona, Hawaii in July 2013. Since then he has staffed 3 DTS’s, completed a leadership course with YWAM, helped to pioneer two prayer rooms in Kona and in Nepal. Currently, he is leading the YWAM Muizenberg Prayer Room in Cape Town. He desires to see the sound of heaven released through prayer and missions. Noah got married in 2018 to Rozie from South Africa. He is enjoying his first year of marriage very much.
Sanel did her DTS in Malawi in 2007 and has since served at different bases in a variety of ministries. She joined YWAM Muizenberg after completing her School Of Prayer in 2009. In 2011, Sanel went to Kona, Hawaii and completed a School of Revival, and it was here that the Lord stirred her heart for prayer even more. In 2016, she completed her School of Biblical Studies at YWAM Muizenberg where the Lord gave her a strong passion for the Word. Sanel believes in raising up a generation that enjoys the presence of God and seeks Him out. She is married to Eric from England and they have a 1 year old son named Luke. Sanel loves ice cream and biltong and won’t hesitate to eat the two together.
YWAM Muizenberg has a category system which aims to enable all students, regardless of social or economic background, to attend our training programmes. The fees below are according to category. You can find out more about our fees, which category you fall in to and financial policies here.
