“We felt God said we needed to be in South Africa for longer, so when Edwin asked me to pioneer the YWAM Muizenberg Media Department, I thought yes I can do that. I have a graphic design background and I love media and so I found that the two things fit together.”

“I have been working with YWAM Muizenberg for a little over 4 years now- with the media department specifically..over the last year I have been doing more and more things- gardening and working with Ubuntu.”

What are you planning to do in the future? What are you preparing right now?
“My work with the media department is ongoing. I am the one behind the computer doing web design, photography, graphic design, videography, and media to tell the story of YWAM Muizenberg and make it accessible. This is the why- to make missions and discipleship accessible.

“I will be running School of Digital Communication which is a three month school which focuses on media in missions- including web design, videography, & graphic design. In missions we have a lack of people with these skill sets, I hope to equip more missionaries with the skill of media.”
