“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 

Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?”

In times of worry (of which we are surely acquainted), we would do well to remember the ravens and the lilies. 🐦🌸

These creations of God, though wonderful in their own way, pale in comparison to we, His children, whom He created in His own image.

How much more does God meet our needs?

How much more does he care for us?

Psalm 139 tells us that He knows us intimately and is with us every moment. He ordains each day of our lives before even one comes to pass!

His love for us and care for our circumstances is hard to fathom.

May we find comfort in these truths today.

Breathe. Consider the ravens.
