In the wake of war and mass migration, racial tensions and ever widening economic inequality, we often feel that our sense of hope has all but dried up. There are days when we feel that the world has simply lost it’s imagination; and when we look in the mirror, we recognize that same tension within ourselves. This prevailing sense of isolation and insecurity, and a deep ache for honesty, belonging and community. Yet, as we face this ache within us, we are learning to be stubborn and choosing to take our cues from the Good News over and above the nightly news. For in our bones we believe that nother world is not only possible, but that she is already here…and on a quiet day we can hear her breathing.
