This school aims to stir up and awaken the spirit inside of you through creative and practical efforts.
To call out the leader in you by using your creativity to reach the lost and broken the way Jesus intended come and allow Jesus to reveal to you how He will use you to awaken the nations.

Awakening Nations DTS will develop the leader in you and bring out your creativity to reach the lost and broken.
Throughout the school there will be opportunities to practice to stir up and awaken the spirit through creative ways.


A variety of speakers locally and internationally and great diversity in ministry opportunities during the lecture phase.

Vernel Levendal

Vernel is passionate and apostolic, he is a go getter who makes things happen. He will help others reach their potential by motivating and calling out their destiny. He has been with YWAM, 10yrs since his DTS, has staffed and led DTS’s.

Traci Renwick

Traci is caring and loving and also a fierce prayer warrior. She is fun to be around and loves children. She did her DTS in Muizenberg 2yrs ago and now is staff in Jbay.

YWAM Jeffrey’s Bay has a category system which aims to enable all students, regardless of social or economic background, to attend our training programmes. The fees below are according to category. *Lecture Fees:
Cat A: R 17,000
Cat B: R 11,000
Cat C: R 8,000


Registration Fees:
Cat A: R500
Cat B: R300
Cat C: R250

In addition, there is a cost for the “Outreach Phase” of your DTS. This cost can vary from R25 000 – R30 000 depending on flights.

Note: This school is the entry level course for anything you want to do in YWAM, whether that be becoming a full-time staff member or continuing on in your education through the University of the Nations.
